Grant for Foundation Project!
The Society received an Historic Restoration Fund grant at the end of 2017 from the Department of Economic & Community Development, State Historic Preservation Office. The grant covered repairs to a foundation wall to address leaks and the installation of drainage system. Before and after Connecticut Dry Basements did the work, hard working volunteers moved all the furniture and pictures along the wall; then put it all back. The area remains leak free!
